Description

The intakes for PhD enrollment in the University are October, February, and May. The University conducts PhD induction for both national and overseas candidates that is usually held in the first or second week following start date for each session. You will be given an opportunity to meet other research candidates, the Graduate School team as well as research staff from the Academic Schools. You will also find out about the range of workshops and events the University runs to equip students with the skills to develop as effective researchers.

Requirements

  • Entry requirements

    Applicants will normally hold a UK honours degree 2:1 (or equivalent); or a Masters degree in a subject relevant to the research project. A minimum English language level of IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with no element below 6.0 is required.
