The PhD in Law is a full-time research degree that takes three to four years to complete. PhD scholars can receive one-to-one supervision once a month during the initial stages of their research. However, meetings may be less frequent thereafter. A PhD dissertation must include the discovery of new knowledge, the connection of previously unrelated facts, the development of new theory or the revision of older views. A PhD research proposal should have the length between 2,000 and 3,000 words
Description
One-to-one supervision will be provided to you. First-year PhD scholars are required to attend the compulsory weekly classes (during term-time only) provided by the Faculty's Research Training and Development Programme, which aims to introduce advanced research techniques and methods in law and cognate disciplines.
