Students are encouraged to learn effective research methods to enhance their knowledge and skills. Students will be allocated supervisors who will help them conduct their research effectively. The research groups associated with the University include Centre for Gender History, Glasgow Global Security Network, Scottish Centre for War Studies, Centre for Scottish and Celtic Studies, and Andrew Hook Centre for American Studies.
