The University of Cambridge is the world’s leading environmental research centres for scientific activities in Antarctica. We are an institute of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and provide all means to carry out cutting-edge scientific research, long-term observations and surveys that cannot be done by anyone else in the UK. We welcome research enquiries from those working for first degrees in earth science, physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and related subjects. Most research studentships lead to the PhD degree.
