The current areas of expertise include art, critical and experimental writing, sculpture, video art, expanded painting, visual and material cultures, cultural landscapes, drawings, art education, moving image, intermedia art, painting, photography, public art, art education, and many more.

The University follows an interdisciplinary approach. All PhD candidates will be assigned two supervisors. One of them might be from a different discipline within the same University. More than two supervisors will be assigned, only if PhD scholars specialise in multiple disciplines together.
