Engineering

Engineering as a concept has existed since ancient times. Humans have always been putting forward new inventions. Engineering as a subject is a discipline and profession of applying technical and scientific knowledge, utilizing natural laws and physical resources in order to invent new designs and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, etc.

The discipline of engineering is extremely broad, and encompasses a range of more specialized fields of engineering, each with a more specific emphasis on particular areas of applied science, technology and types of application. The programmes in engineering focus primarily practical and technical skills in product improvement, manufacturing, construction or engineering operational functions.
